Obituary for Tammy M Horness

Tammy M. Horness was born on March 14, 1971 in Story City to Virgil and Janice (Markworth) Horness. Tammy was a graduate of Roland-Story High School and was lobby manager at Taco John’s in Ames. Tammy enjoyed bowling, collecting key chains, traveling,attending family reunions, visiting, participating in Special Olympics and the Best Buddy program at Iowa State. She was a member of St. Petri Lutheran Church and had lived in all of her life in Ames and Roland.
Tammy passed away July 5, 2018 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames at the age of 47.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Janice Horness of Roland; two brothers, Doug (Jenny) Horness of Slater and Robert of Boone; a niece, Susan and six nephews, Tyler, Bobby, Damien, Justin, Zach and Tony.
She was preceded in death by her father, Virigil.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Homeward Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
